Free Intro Class options:

JOIN A regular class

Attend one of our regular classes at the dojo throughout the week, including Sunday morning (schedule found here).

This option is more for those who want to get right in to hands-on learning.  It involves more physical experience with partner(s) and less explanation from a first-day student's perspective.

SCHEDULE A One-ON-ONE
SESSION

Schedule a time with us outside of our regular class times.  If during the week, it works best to do this in the hour before our regular class starts = 5-6pm.

The one-on-one can be more tailored to what you want to look at; it's an opportunity for much more discussion of context and background of the art (history, explanation of concepts etc).

JOIN AN
OUTDOOR CLASS

On a Saturday morning during one of our outdoor classes, which are typically held at the Emeryville Marina from 9-10 and 10-11am (you would choose a one-hour slot).

These classes feature our curriculum of wooden weapon practices, which is specific to our 'Iwama Aikido' lineage
