About Aiki Integrated Arts 501 (c)(3)
Established in 2002, Aiki Integrated Arts is a California 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization that funds the Aikido Institute’s programs for adults and children. Our mission is to provide instruction to the public in the art of Aikido and other movement arts, for the benefit of the practitioners and the community at large. All of our instructors teach on a volunteer basis. All proceeds from our programs go directly towards fulfilling our mission.
Winner of the 2023 California Assembly District 18 Unsung Hero Award
In October 2023, our school was awarded the 2023 Unsung Hero Award by Assemblymember Mia Bonta at the 2nd annual Assembly District 18 Awards held in Emeryville, California, in recognition of its long-standing presence and engagement in the community (the 18th District covers parts of Oakland, Alameda and Emeryville).

Aiki Integrated Arts is a recipient of a Google Ad Grants award. The Google Ad Grants program supports registered nonprofit organizations that share Google's philosophy of community service to help the world in areas such as science and technology, education, global public health, the environment, youth advocacy, and the arts. Google Ad Grants is an in-kind advertising program that awards free online advertising to nonprofits via Google AdWords.
